The present Privacy and Cookie Policy (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Privacy Policy’) governs the rules for processing personal data, collecting and using information about users on the website at www.semont.co (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Service’).

The Privacy Policy has been created and adopted by the company Sabina Susułowska SEMONT.

This Privacy Policy is provided to ensure that the Users of this Service are aware that the protection of the privacy of the Users visiting the Service is particularly important, and to provide Users with information regarding the personal data collected by the Service, the purpose of their collection, and the use of cookies.

The personal data administrator ensures privacy protection at a level at least corresponding to the standards defined in the applicable legal regulations, in particular, but not exclusively:

Your data will be processed during the time in which a complaint or lawsuit can be filed, as well as during the period for which the Administrator is required to process data based on applicable laws and regulations. Data processed for the purpose of direct marketing of our products and services will be processed until the Customer objects to their processing for this purpose.

1. The objectives of the Privacy Policy and the use of cookie files on the Website are as follows

1.1. The Administrator processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Fulfillment of orders and requests carried out by the entity.
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations incumbent on the entity.
  • Communication related to servicing inquiries, orders, and requests offered by the entity (including: phone and email contact).
  • Handling complaints or any other potential claims.
  • For analytical or statistical purposes.
  • Sending marketing content to you (delivering marketing communication based on cookie files, analytical data, and direct marketing).

1.2. We kindly inform that the Service may contain links to other websites managed by different administrators. 2. Data collected about Users on the Website, including personal data, its use, and User rights

2.2. User Data Shared Actively

2.2.1. To familiarize oneself with the offerings of the Sabina Susułowska SEMONT company, the User may, without the need for prior registration and login, fill out a contact form by providing their first name, last name, phone number, and email address. The data will be processed for the necessary period, but no longer than until the User objects.

2.2.2. The service enables contact with the relevant service departments through a contact form or phone. By contacting in one of the previously indicated ways, the User provides their email address and/or phone number. This data is used solely for contact purposes, namely, to prepare a response to the message sent by the User.

2.3. The User has the right at any time to access the data processed by the Administrator, the right to request changes to them, as well as their deletion. To do so, please send a request to the address contact@semont.co.”

3. User Rights Arising from Applicable Regulations (GDPR)

In accordance with the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union number 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, concerning the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, the User has the following rights:

  • anonymity,
  • withdrawal (deletion) of their data,
  • correction of their data,
  • data portability,
  • restriction of data processing,
  • access to their data,
  • receipt of a copy of their data,
  • notification of a data breach,
  • objecting to the processing of their data,
  • lodging a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

The stored data will not be transferred to a third country or any international organization. According to Article 4(4) of the above-mentioned Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union, data may be subject to profiling.

4. Security

User’s personal data are stored in a database for which technical and organizational measures have been implemented to ensure the protection of processed data in accordance with the requirements set out in the legislation regarding personal data protection, specifically, but not limited to, in:

Act of 16 July 2004 – Telecommunications Law (Journal of Laws 2014.243, as amended).
The service employs technologies and procedures for the protection of personal data to ensure the proper safeguarding of users’ privacy. At the same time, the Administrator informs that access to the database is granted only to individuals authorized by the Administrator.

5. Cookies and their use

5.1. Within the operation of the Service, cookies are used and stored on the Users’ end devices. By the use of cookies, we mean their storage and access by the Administrator.

Referring to the provisions of the Telecommunications Law, the Administrator kindly informs that the User’s consent to the storage of information, personal data, or access to information and personal data stored so far on the User’s telecommunications end device can also be expressed by the User through the settings of the software installed on the same end device. In a situation where the User does not consent to the storage and use of information and personal data, they should change the settings of the software used on the end device.
